Overview

KanaPop is a Japanese kana learning game. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data KanaPop collects and how it is used.

Data Collection

KanaPop's own code collects no personal data. Specifically:

• No account or sign-up is required.
• No personal information (name, email, etc.) is requested or gathered.
• No usage analytics or tracking is performed by the app itself.
• Your game progress, stats, and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

KanaPop offers optional rewarded ads — watch one to earn an extra life or hint. These ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect and process advertising-related data on its own behalf. See Third-Party Services below for details.

Data Stored on Your Device

KanaPop stores your game progress and preferences (such as language setting and sound preferences) locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Third-Party Services

KanaPop uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded video ads. Watching an ad is never required to play. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob may collect data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and ad interaction data.

Before this identifier can be used, KanaPop asks for permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Declining it does not block gameplay or ad access — it only limits how personalized the ads are.

Children's Privacy

KanaPop's own code does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Ads shown in the app are served by Google AdMob; ad personalization is enabled only with a player's explicit permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
